Wildern has achieved 3 consecutive ‘Outstanding’ reports by Ofsted – 2004, 2008 and 2012. We are hugely proud of this achievement but are not at all complacent and continually work to maintain this high accolade.
We believe that the observations made by the Inspectors still ring true today:-
‘Students’ outstanding behaviour makes a very positive contribution to the school and contributes to a harmonious and welcoming community’
‘The quality of teaching is outstanding. Teachers are highly skilled, enthusiastic and ambitious practitioners. Lessons are packed with a range of interesting activities and no time is wasted’.
‘Students are proud of their school and talk very positively about the range of opportunities it provides for them’.
‘Discrimination in any form is not tolerated and this is evident in the courtesy and respect that both staff and students demonstrate for each other’.
‘The governing body is well informed, knows what it is happening in the school and how well it is doing in relation to similar schools’.

The views of parents are very important to us. We want to know when we do things well, and we want to know what we could do even better. In the past, when Ofsted have inspected schools they have conducted Parent Surveys. This can now be actioned at anytime, online.
We encourage parents to complete the Ofsted Parent View questionnaire about Wildern. It takes just a few minutes using this link click here.
If you have any specific issues you would like the school to address, have any questions, or just want to let us know how we are doing, please contact us at your earliest convenience
