The Wildern Girls did exceptionally well at the London Olympic Pool against a very high standard of swimming. Schools who specialise in swimming, Millfield and Mount Kelly, had a few Teams entered, and were difficult to beat. But in swimming it's down to 10ths, 100ths of a second, and I am very pleased to report that the girls held their own and gained 5 more places up the rankings from when they were selected for the final.
They were only 1 sec off the top 10th place Team, that swam in the final.
The Girls, Madeline, Lydia, Maria and Iszy were a pleasure to be seen with and represented Wildern School with pride and honour. It was a terrific experience for them and a fantastic memory to keep.
