Post 3 - Deputy Chef/ Catering Manager â€“ Full time, exact working days/times may be negotiable for the right candidate. Actual starting salary Grade D â€“ Step 1 - Â£20,830 (progressing to Grade E â€“ Step 1 - Â£25,833 as the Trust expands to three schools).
We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team in a busy kitchen in a large secondary school. This post will initially be based at Wildern School and will move to our new secondary school when it opens (anticipated September 2021).
All posts will work under the direction of the Chef/ Catering Manager helping prepare, cook and serve food and drink to students and staff. In addition, you will be required to prepare and dismantle eating areas and carry out cleaning duties whilst maintaining high quality standards of health, hygiene and safety. The successful candidates will ideally have the Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, although training is available if necessary.
For all posts applicants successfully shortlisted will be expected to complete a working interview as part of the interview process.
