Lost Property

The School Nurse deals with lost property. Most ‘lost’ property is genuinely lost and rarely reclaimed. To avoid unnecessary loss all items of clothing should be clearly marked and small items of value should not be left in bags.

It is essential that students do not bring valuable items to school. Jewellery is not to be worn to school and may be liable to temporary confiscation. It is best not to bring very expensive pens, unless they can be kept in a pocket all the time.

Students should only bring the minimum of money to school as a sensible precaution. If large sums have to be brought to school, they should be given to a member of staff, preferably the Group Tutor, for safekeeping.
