In Year 9 students will undertake new options plus the core entitlement as mentioned under the KS4 Curriculum.
All students currently follow an entitlement curriculum of English, Mathematics, Science and Physical Education.
Students will be offered the opportunity to select GCSE subjects from a variety of curriculum pathways. At Key Stage 4 studying a modern foreign language is optional, although we encourage students to continue with the language they followed in Key Stage 3.
Full details on upper school courses will be distributed to students and parents during Year 8. If you require information about the courses please contact the Curriculum Deputy Headteacher.
The revised National Curriculum has been implemented from September 2014.
