All students throughout their 5 years at Wildern are taught by a dynamic team who aim to instil students with a thirst for knowledge and practical skills through the diverse curriculum of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Students are able to develop their scientific knowledge and curiosity for the subject through both practical and content based lessons, which will prepare them for the KS4 Curriculum. Students follow the 10 AQA big ideas of Forces, Electromagnets, Energy, Waves, Matter, Reactions, Earth, Organisms, Ecosystem, Genes.
Students continue to develop their scientific knowledge and curiosity for the subject through both practical and content-based lessons. Students study either AQA Separate Science or AQA Combined Science (Trilogy). In Combined Science students will study all three disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics and receive two GCSEs at the end of year 11. Throughout the year the department participate in a large number of extra curricular school trips to ensure students are provided with enrichment within the Science curriculum.

Mud club offers a wide range of opportunities for students to get hands on with nature.
