Creative & Media

Wildern boasts an outstanding Creative and Media Department. There is a broad Arts & Media Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4 through Art, Dance, Drama, Music and Media. The department believes that the Arts & Media are an essential part of a broad and balanced curriculum and provide essential skills and creativity for students allowing them to contribute beyond the curriculum. Wildern has been awarded the Artsmark Platinum by Arts Council England reflecting the exceptional curriculum and opportunities available at the school.

The Creative and Media Department hosts a large team of highly skilled, passionate members of staff who all share the vision of providing high quality teaching and learning for all students. Each subject strives to ensure all students have real life opportunities in the Arts and Media including working with Artists and Professionals in the local community and beyond.

Our vision is shared across the school and with our Wildern Primary Partnership Schools. We take great pride in offering Primary outreach work in both Dance and Music as well as hosting the Wildern Junior Music Academy.
