Site Assistant - Maintenance
37 hours per week, 5.00am â€“ 1.00pm Monday to Thursday, 5.00am â€“ 12.30pm Friday, 52 weeks per year. Grade B - Step 1 Â£18,065 plus 24 days holiday. We have a vacancy for a Site Assistant to join our Maintenance Team.
The Wildern Academy Trust comprises of Wildern School and Boorley Park Primary School, a further 7-form entry secondary school is planned to open September 2021. The successful candidate will:
â€¢ Be skilled in a variety of areas including general building maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and minor electrical works
â€¢ Have the ability to perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance & minor works on a supervised and unsupervised basis
â€¢ Be able to work efficiently in a busy environment and use their own initiative to solve work related problems effectively
â€¢ Have excellent communication and organisational skills
â€¢ Be a pragmatic, quick thinker
â€¢ Support the school's ethos and values
â€¢ Be a team player with a â€˜can doâ€™ approach
Lifting, moving and handling of furniture and deliveries also form part of the role. Full health and safety training will be given.
A full, clean driving licence and your own transport is essential for this role.
