32.50 hours per week, 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Term time only (40 weeks). Grade D – Step 1 - Full Time Equivalent Salary £20,830, Actual Annual Salary £16,052.04.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our growing school. Boorley Park Primary School is a brand new primary school that opened in September 2019 with one year R class. In September 2020, two new Year R classes will be added to the school as the current cohort move to Year 1.

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our small staff team. The role will be varied and you will need to be adaptable and flexible - there will be opportunities to work with the whole class, teaching small groups and on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils.

This is a new role for the school and so there are also opportunities for the right candidate to take on responsibility for providing ELSA provision within the school. We have a strong focus on wellbeing at Boorley Park and so are looking to expand our pastoral team to provide additional support to our pupils and their family.

The successful candidate will:
● Have an HLTA qualification
● Have relevant and recent experience of working within a KS1 setting
● Have a positive attitude and be willing to take on new challenges, being flexible and adaptable every day
● Have a good understanding of safeguarding
● Be professional and act with integrity
● Be a good team player, while being able to work independently
