Information from the Hampshire Music Service regarding tickets:

Tickets

As you are probably aware the box office opened last Monday morning and by 3.00pm the stalls had sold out! Today there are 248 tickets available in the rear circle and a few individual tickets in 2nd tier / loggia boxes.

If your parents don’t yet have tickets please reassure them. They can get tickets in the following ways:

· The RAH box office will be releasing some more seats in the stalls. I will let you know the date in advance and I would suggest getting online at 9am to book your seat. These will not be released before next week at the very earliest, and I will let you know in advance.

· If parents have bought a ticket in the upper circle they can upgrade when the stall seats become available if they want to. The drawback is this has to be done by phone, which may mean a lengthy wait, by which time tickets may have sold out again. If parents want to upgrade they can also apply to me for any privately owned seats that may be returned – I will have a limited number of stalls available, probably from February onwards.

Boxes have all but sold out. Parents / schools can request a privately owned box by emailing music.service@hants.gov.uk
Decisions will not be made before February on allocation of the boxes and will depend on how many have been released for sale. If parents have bought upper circle tickets and then wish to upgrade to a box, we can do this subject to availability, but best to apply now as all requests will be time stamped and issued accordingly.
